BLONNIE JEAN HORNER POLAND
SANDY CROSS – Blonnie Jean Horner Poland, 70, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010.

She was born in Nash County Sept. 16, 1939, youngest daughter of the late John R. Horner and Eula Stallings Horner.

She is survived by her husband, Obria N. “Tom” Poland of the home; one son, Jason N. Poland and Jason’s Fiance’, Christy Pridgen and a host of nieces, nephews and in-laws.

A funeral service to celebrate her life was held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Webb and Rev. Ruben Batchelor officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery, Nashville.

The family received friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.

Flowers are accepted or memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2418 Blue Ridge Road, Suite 206 Raleigh, NC 27607 or to the American Lung Association, 8300 Health Park, Suite 316, Raleigh, NC 27615.
