JAMES YANCEY HUNTER, JR.
PHILADELPHIA, PA. - Funeral services for James Yancey Hunter, Jr., 81, who died Sunday, May 9, 2010 were Saturday, May 15 at 1 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Easonburg. Burial followed in Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Milton Batts officiating.

Surviving: wife, Alma S. Hunter of the home; daughters, Ashley Hunter and Jacqueline Hunter, both of Philadelphia, Pa., Sylvia Shaw of Surprise, Ariz; sons, James Yancey Hunter, III of Rhode Island, Victor Hunter and Carlos Hunter, both of Philadelphia, Pa.; sisters, Elizabeth H. Johnson of Fayetteville, Albertine Brown of Sloatsburg, N.Y.; brothers, Carl E. Hunter and Donald R. Hunter, both of Rocky Mount, Wade J. Hunter of Millsboro, Del.

Wake services were Friday, May 14, from 7 - 8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville.
