CHARLOTTE - Funeral services for Vernell “Jean” Arrington, 72, who died Saturday, April 10, 2010, were Friday, April 16, at 2 p.m. at Union Hill Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Union Hill Church cemetery with Rev. Thomas McCullers officiating.
Surviving: daughters, Veronica Toomer of Bronx, N.Y., Rena and Vivia Mirand, both of Charlotte; son, Charles Arrington of Newark N.J.; sister, Gladys Cooper of Charlotte; brother , Percell Arrington of Washington, D.C.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Wake services were at Richardson Funeral Homes in Nashville on Thursday, April 15. Arrangements by Richardson Funeral Home.
