Relay for Life fundraiser events have begun and here are some of the upcoming team fundraisers:

Cooking up a Cure: Southern Angels’ Relay for Life team is having a “Cooking Up a Cure” on Thursday, March 4 with Pampered Chef at Living Faith Fellowship (fellowship hall), 1090 West Mount Drive, Rocky Mount @ 6:30pm. Bring a friend or two. For more information, please contact Shannon at slashley@ckr.com.

Pancake and Sausage Supper: Fruit of the Spirit Relay for Life team is having a Pancake and Sausage Supper on Saturday, March 6 at Sandy Cross United Methodist Church, Nashville from 5pm to 7pm. Tickets are $6.00-all you can eat! For more information call Patricia Joyner at 443-4586 or Gary Smith at 908-2941.

Indoor yard sale: Eastern NC Medical Group’s Relay for Life team is having an indoor Yard Sale on Saturday, March 6 from 7am until in the lobby of Eastern NC Medical Group (old Community Hospital site).

Hot Dog and silent auction - Team GoGo’s Relay for Life team is having a Hot Dog & Silent Auction on Saturday, March 6 at West Edgecombe Baptist Church (Family Life Center), 13821 NC Hwy 43 N, Rocky Mount. 6pm-8pm. Bidding will end at 7:30pm. In memory of Diane Lewis.

Fish Fry: Churches United’s Relay for Life team is having a Fish Fry on Friday, March 12 from 11am until 6pm at the OD Moore Building, South Alston St, Nashville. $6 per plate. For tickets or information, please call Wiley or Brenda at 252-459-7047.

Live Charity Auction: 6th Annual Relay for Life Live Charity Auction will be held Friday, March 12 at the Farmer’s Market in Rocky Mount at 6 p.m. Preview starts at 4 p.m.

CrossCutt Band: Relay for Life fundraiser on Saturday, March 12 featuring The CrossCutt Band at Nightlife Bar and Grill (Country Club Rd, Rocky Mount—behind Pizza Inn). $5 cover charge that will be donated to Relay for Life.  Band starts @ 9:30pm.

Yard sale: Kids Assisting in the Cure’s Relay for Life team Yard Sale Fundraiser will be held Saturday, March 13 from 7 a.m. until12 noon in the parking lot of Dr. Ronnie Lloyd (105 W. Church St, Nashville)

Pancake Breakfast: Southern Angels’ Relay for Life team is having a Pancake Breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, March 13 from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. at  Andy’s Cheesesteak & Cheeseburgers (Rocky Mount). Ebenezer PHC Gospel Singing: Saturday, March 13 featuring “Alvin Smith.”  Relay for Life Fundraiser at Ebenezer PHC, 1462 First St. Ext, Nashville at 6pm. Also, singing is “Frieda Eakins” (Cancer Survivor). Hot dogs with fixings sold from 4 until 5:45 p.m. Free admission – Love Offering accepted.

Pancake breakfast: Southern Angels have Living Faith’s Relay for Life team is having a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, March 13 from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. Breakfast includes: pancakes, bacon or sausage, & beverage. $5 per plate. For tickets, please call Leslie Ferrell (252) 266-8081.

Gospel singing: DeDe’s Family & Friends team fundraiser Gospel Singing on Sunday, March 14 at Northside Community Church (1660 Beaver Pond Road, Rocky Mount) from 4 until 7 p.m. Hot dogs for sale during intermission. Free admission – Love Offering accepted.

Gospel concert: Churches United’s Relay for Life team is having a Gospel Concert on Friday, March 19 at the OD Moore Building, South Alston St, Nashville. Special guests include Bro Jerry Harrison & Faith of Nash County, Joe Alston & Co of Louisburg, NC, First Timothy Combine Choir of Nashville, NC, & The Gospel Sensations of Nashville, NC. Hot dogs will be sold. Doors open at 4 p.m. Program begins at 6 p.m. Please bring a generous donation. For more information, please call Wiley or Brenda @ 252-459-7047.

Spring Gift Eggstravaganza: Abby’s Angels fundraiser…Spring Gift Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 20 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at North Rocky Mount Church of God (2413 Goldrock Road, Rocky Mount). Products will be on sale from Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, Stampin Up, AVON, Creative Memories, Tupperware and more. Vendors are still needed. Table rental is$15. Fundraiser: Abby’s Angels Relay for Life fundraiser on Tuesday, March 23 at Smithfield’s Chicken & BBQ (Wesleyan Blvd, Rocky Mount) 5 until 8 p.m. 25% of all sales will go to Relay for Life.

Riding for a Cure: Churches United’s Relay for Life team is having a Bikers Riding for a Cure on Saturday, April 3 . Bikers will meet at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville. Refreshments after the ride. $12 donation. Registration at 9 a.m. & Ride begins at 10 a.m. For more information, please call Wiley or Brenda @ 252-459-7047.

Volleyball tournament: RMGYN & Friends Fundraiser—Volleyball Tournament Saturday, April 10 at Sunset Park Sand Volleyball Courts, Rocky Mount (rain date April 17th). $10 per participant. (4 on 4 tournament & teams can have up to 10 players). Players must be 18 years old or older to play. We will have concessions & selling our “Kiss Cancer Goodbye” t-shirts for sale. Benefit singing: Abby’s Angels Relay for Life fundraiser Benefit singing featuring the Mills Family on Friday, April 16 at North Rocky Mount Church of God (2413 Goldrock Road, Rocky Mount) at 7:30pm. Hot dogs, baked goods, & drinks will be sold before the singing. Love Offering accepted. All proceeds goes to Relay for Life.
