LOCKS OF LOVE
Gabbi Ams recently cut her hair to donate to Locks of Love. Ams, who will turn four in April, has been growing her hair out since she was born. With the exception of just one trim, Ams has not cut her hair. Ams is donating her 12 inches in memory of Linda Cooper Roane, who was Gabbi’s Mommy’s Moring Out Teacher at First United Methodist Church Pre School and Kindergarten and a long-time friend of the family. Roane passed away last November after a short fight with cancer. Gabbi is the daughter of Joey and Michelle Ams, of Rocky Mount, the granddaughter of Mike and Ella Flora, of Red Oak and the great granddaughter of Warren and Dot Flora of Rocky Mount.
