Francis J. Bogdovics, 70, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at his home. He was born November 23, 1939 in Roebling, New Jersey, son of the late Adam and Bertha Selenick Bogdovics.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Janice Cribb Bogdovics; sons, Michael Bogdovics, Richard Bogdovics; daughter, Sandra Lamprecht; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Francis was preceded in death by his son Steven who passed away in 2004.
The family received family and friends 7-8:30 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home. A funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home Chapel with Alice Warner presiding. The family will receive flowers or memorials may be made to Community Hospice, 3124 Zebulon Rd., Rocky Mount, NC 27804 or the American Cancer Society, 390-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
