HOLLISTER - Lewis Silver, 87, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009.

Funeral services  were Monday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. at Pine Chapel Baptist Church.

Burial followed in the Richardson Family Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Hedgepeth officiating.

Silver is survived by three daughters, Lou Edna Ricks of Whitakers, Paulette Richardson of Hollister, and Marsha Bowre of Greenbelt, Md.; six sons, Melvin Silver and Bradley Silver of Hollister, George Silver of Baltimore, Md., Darry Silver and Charles Silver of Littleton, and Mark Silver of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 27 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held Sunday, Dec. 20, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg from 3-8 p.m.
