EVELYN COOPER TAYLOR
NASHVILLE - Evelyn Cooper Taylor, 82, died Thursday, November 5, 2009.

Funeral service was Monday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Tyrone Jones officiating. Burial followed the service in the Oakland Cemetery.

Surviving: husband, Harvey Taylor of the home; daughters, Tabitha Hoffler of Battleboro, Judy Dickens of Rocky Mount and Angela Freeman of the home; sons, James H. Taylor and Aaron D. Taylor, both of Nashville, W. Keith Taylor and Donald E. Taylor, both of Rocky Mount;  sisters, Annie Lee Applewhite of Spring Hope; brother, James Cooper of Hampton, Va.; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

Visitation was Sunday, Nov. 8 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
