Sue Ryals Felton, 95, of Rocky Mount and Nashville, died Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Spring Arbor of Rocky Mount.
She was born to the late Archie T. and Vira S. Ryals. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Howard Felton; her sister, Sarah Peedin; and brothers, Horace, Henry, Preston, and Jake Ryals.
Sue is survived by her two daughters, Glenda Winstead and husband Fred of Nashville and Judy Tuttle and husband Harold “Skip” of Rock Hill SC; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, She is also survived by her sister Leola White of Pine Level.
A graveside service to remember Sue’s life was held at 3:00pm Friday, September 18, 2009 at Pineview Cemetery in Rocky Mount with Rev. Blake Dempsey of Rock Creek Baptist Church, Nashville officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Hospice General, 2460 Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount NC 27804.
