ROCKY MOUNT - Pattie Moore Cawthorne, 70, passed away at Autumn Care of Nash in Nashville on Wednesday, April 29, 2009. She was born in Nash County on October 4, 1938 to the late James Ashby Moore and Margaret Peacock Moore. Pattie was preceded in death by daughter, Gina Cawthorne Turek.
She is survived by daughter, Ana Cawthorne Joyner and her husband, John and two grandchildren, Lauren and Zach Joyner all of Nashville.
A graveside service was held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Pineview Cemetery with Rev. Connie Button officiating. The family received friends at the home of Ana and John Joyner, 806 South Creek Drive, Nashville, NC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Nashville Baptist Church Youth Program, 512 E. Washington St. Nashville, NC 27856 or to West Haven Presbyterian Church, 1001 West Haven Blvd., Rocky Mount, NC 27803 in memory of Pattie Moore Cawthorne.
