ROCKY MOUNT - Evelyn Nina Joyner Price, 56 went to be with her Lord and Saviour, April 14, 2008.
She was born in Edgecombe County October 2, 1952.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, John Moultrie Price, III of the home; daughter, Billie “BJ” Jo Winstead and husband, Paul of Rocky Mount; son, John “Pup” Joyner of the home; her mother, Nina P. Joyner and step-father, Junior B. Joyner; sisters, Sybil Heaton and Kim Long both of Rocky Mount; five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, William Henry Joyner, Jr.
A funeral service was held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Dr. Terry Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family received friends Friday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
