NASHVILLE - Frederick Ray Dunn, 70, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2009. He was the son of the late George and Amanda Skinner Dunn. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Kay Dunn and brother; James Marcus Dunn.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Frances Duke Dunn of the home; son, Michael “Mike” Dunn and wife Germaine Rooks of Nashville; sister, Lois Dunn Harris and Husband Royce of Nashville; brother, Jerry Dunn and special friend Gwendy Batts of Wallace NC; one grandson and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family received friends from 7 to 9 pm Friday, April 10, 2009 at Johnson Funerals and Cremations on English Road and other times at the home. Funeral services were held at 2 pm Saturday in the chapel at funeral home. Burial followed at Red Oak Cemetery.
