Steve Allen Matthews, 70, passed away on September 19, 2026. Born on September 13, 1956, he was the son of the late Gilford Matthews and Betty Morgan Matthews Vaughn.
Steve is survived by his son, Jacob Allen Matthews; two daughters, Kara Matthews McGhee (Patrick) and Kristan Matthews Strickland; and four sisters, Rebecca, Karen, Denise, and Lori; three grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Steve is preceded in death by his brother, Randy Matthews.
A visitation will be held at Cornerstone Funeral Home on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 2-3 p.m. |
