Elaine Ferrell, 68, a Nash County native, passed away on February 18th, 2026. She was preceded in death by her brother Dennis Cooper, father Maurice Cooper, and husband Roger Ferrell.

She is survived by her child, Taylor Ferrell; mother, Virginia Cooper; sister-in-law Grace Wallace (Wayne); an aunt, nieces, nephews, cousins.

A service was held February 20, 2026 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Funeral Home towards the funeral expenses.
