VIRGINIA "JINX" RILEY GLASGOW

BATTLEBORO - Virginia "Jinx" Riley Glasgow, age 101, passed away on February 14, 2026. Born in Rowan County on September 28, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Ida Mae Riley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry P. "H.P." Glasgow, Jr.; her daughter, Jane Pernell and her husband, Larry; her three brothers, her three sisters; and her son in law, Mike McIntyre.

Jinx is survived by her daughter, Jean McIntyre; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way; a great-great grandchild; her sister-in-law, Rhoda Riley; many nieces and nephews.

A service was held February 17, 2026, at Pineview Cemetery with Pastor Chris Fowler officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jinx's memory to Red Oak Baptist Church Building Fund, 5515 Red Oak Rd, Red Oak, NC 27868.
