NASHVILLE - Ailean Deans Tant, 83, passed away on, Sunday, March 22, 2009. She was born December 16, 1925 in Nash County. She was the daughter of the late, Alfred and Allie Joyner Deans.
Survivors include her two daughters, Gail Manning and husband Danny of Nashville, Debbie Strickland and husband Wayne of Knightdale and four grandchildren,.
Visitation was Monday, March 23, 2009 from 6:00-8:00PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral Service was Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Elizabeth Polk, Rev. James Rogerson and Rev. Woody Jones officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the White Oak United Methodist Church of Old White Oak Road, Nashville, NC 27856 or Community Hospice @ 3124 Zebulon Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 .
