ELDER JAMES E. WOODARD
SPRING HOPE - Elder James Earl Woodard died Saturday, March 7, 2009.

Funeral services were Wednesday, March 11 at St. Mary Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, Bailey. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Mable Woodard; sons, Stanley Montague of Zebulon, Monte, Demetris and Antonio Woodard, all of the home; sisters, Catherine Bailey and Edith Woodard, both of Bailey, and Nora Lee Woodard of Spring Hope; adopted sister, Doris Day Sutton of Zebulon; brothers, Jimmy Lee Woodard of Wendell and Donnie Jr. Wiggins of Virginia; adopted brothers, Jimmy Strickland and Elder Dwight Davis, both of Sims; 2 grandchildren.

Visitation was Tuesday, March 10 from 3 - 8 p.m. at William Toney’s Funeral Home, Spring Hope.
