Lissie Ann Denton, 90, passed away July 21, 2025. She was born April 25, 1935 to the late Ludie and Lillie Griffin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Cassie W. Denton; son Joseph Denton; brothers Bennie, Emerson and Lomus Griffin; sisters, Dolly Mae Creech and Betty Griffin.

Lissie is survived by her sons W. Jacob Denton (Pauline), W. Thaddeus Denton (Tracy), Carl Wayne Denton (Vera); daughters Mary Ann Zammiello (Pat), Martha Lynn Jenkins, Elizabeth Pullen and Linda Fay Baker (Timothy); brothers Raymond Griffin (Grace) and Richard Griffin; several grandchildren, and great- grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Rick Downing officiating. The burial will follow in the Denton Family Cemetery.
