Charles Proctor, 80, passed away on June 1, 2025. Born and raised in Nash County, Charles was the son of the late Marshall Proctor and Lois Skinner Proctor.

Charles is survived by his wife of 58 years, Diane Proctor; his daughter, Emily Proctor Andrews; his brother, Michael Rudy Proctor; his sisters, Kaye Goff and Brenda Weaver; one grandchild and many nieces.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Danny "Sam" Proctor.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral Home, with a visitation to follow after the service.
