SPRING HOPE - Anne P. Abernethy, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Born in Nash County on February 25, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Ray Abernethy and Margaret Anne Smith Abernethy. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Earl Abernethy.

Anne is survived by her daughter, Carol Anne Green (Demetrius); sons, Christopher Thomas Peele, and Brian Peele; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2025. at 6 p.m. at Oak Level Baptist Church, 3598 Oak Level Road Rocky Mount.
