Nashville - Dorothy Griffin Jones Puckett, age 84, passed away May 11, 2025. She was born in Nash County on March 31, 1941. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommie George Griffin and Dorthene Griffin Rackley and husbands, Charlie E. Jones, Jr. and Kermitte Puckett.

She is survived by her daughters, Joy Griffin Jones of Nashville and Jennifer J. Steelman of Kinston.
