Fred Dixon Taylor of Sebring, Florida, passed away on May 2, 2025. He was born on August 5, 1935. He grew up in Nash County.

He was the son of E.P. and Bessie W. Taylor who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his wife Mozelle W., his son Billy Joe Taylor, and his sister Marjorie (Arthur) Joyner.

He is survived by his daughter, Frances Dixon Taylor of Sebring, Florida; brothers, Charles (Audrey) and Brooks (Patsy), several nieces and nephews from the Nashville area.
