BATTLEBORO - Leigh "Angel" Pope, age 61, passed away April 10, 2025. She was born on May 29, 1963 in Buncombe County.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Rick Pope; children, Forrest Hinton (Ashley) of Durham, Christian Watson (Kyle) of Scotland Neck and Garrett Hinton of Rocky Mount; father, Randolph Daniel of Battleboro; brother, Randy Daniel (Cathy) of Wilson; three grandchildren; mother-in-law, Mary Pope of Rocky Mount; along with several other extended relatives and family friends.

A memorial service was held April 13, 2025 at NorthSide Church, Rocky Mount.
