Clifton Thomas Nelms, 81, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025. He was born April 20, 1943 in Edgecombe County to the late Alexander and Olivia Walker Nelms. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Faye Sealy; two brothers, John and Alexander Nelms.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ann Nelms; daughters, Diana Nelms Wrenn (Anthony) and Amanda Nelms Stilley (William); sister, Wilma Walters; three grandchildren.
