Battleboro - Lorraine Omdahl Marriott, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Born in Becker County, MN, on November 27, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Myles Omdahl and Ella Henriette Aamodt Omdahl. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Fern Omdahl Nelson.
Lorraine is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert Henry Marriott; her daughters, Pamela Marriott Mingloski (Keith) and Robin Marriott Horne (Chuck); two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; many nephews, nieces, extended family members.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Battleboro Cemetery, Cemetery Drive, Battleboro with Parker Phillips officiating. Visitation with the family will be following the service at Battleboro United Methodist Church Educational Building.
Due to the cold weather on Tuesday, the family would like to have those at the graveside service join them at the Battleboro Methodist Church Educational building for coffee and snacks after the service to visit with the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lorraine's name to St. John's Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 577, Battleboro, NC 27809 or to a charity of your choice. |
