ROCKY MOUNT - Frances Davidson Adams, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Born in Bertie County on June 22, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Claude D. Davidson and Josephine Adams Davidson Ward. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Battle Adams; and her brothers, William Cohen Davidson, Herbert Rudolph "Pete" Davidson, Walter J. Davidson, and foster sister Mary Ellen Harris Taylor.
Frances is survived by sisters-in-law, Elise Sykes and Rachel Adams; her nephew. niece, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A graveside service was held December 30, 2024, at at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, Rocky Mount, with Rev. Chris Fowler officiating. |
