RED OAK - Susan Deloris Tippette, age 75, passed away August 20, 2024 Born in Halifax County on August 30, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Brown and Dorothy Rae Taylor Brown.
Susan is survived by her husband, Jake; her daughter, Shannon Tippette Newcomb (Lee); her son, Jake "Jay" Tippette (Patrice); one grandchild; two step-grandchildren; her sister, Ruth Grant.
A servcie will be held August 24, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Dan Hanshew officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
