JOYCE PRIDGEN LEWIS

Joyce Pridgen Lewis, age 81, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024. Born in Franklin County on August 22, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Thomas and Ada Tharrington Pridgen. She was proceeded in death by her husband Rex Dean Lewis, grandson Matthew Dean James, siblings Mary Faye Pridgen, Bobby S. Pridgen and David Earl "Gabby" Pridgen.

Joyce is survived by her daughter Robin M. Lewis (fiancé Scott Parker) of Castalia; one great-grandchild; siblins, Betty P. King (Ray) Arthur T. "Sam" Pridgen. Jr. of Castalia, sister-in-law Peggy B. Pridgen of Nashville.

A service will be held Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 4 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville with Rev. Arthur T. Pridgen III officiating. A visitation with family will follow until 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Joyce's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave, Floor 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601 or WWW.ALZ.ORG.
