Evelyn Langley Cahoon Overby passed away on May 4, 2024. She was born August 26, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Graham and Lilly Langley Wooten. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years RT Overby, sister Betty Fisher Cahoon.

She is survived by her daughter Robin Ward and her husband Jeff of Battleboro; two grandchildren; her sister Debbie Wooten Collins {Ertle}, her brother Sonny Wooten {Joyce} and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation with the family will be held Wednesday May 8th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a funeral service at 1 pm in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev Mark Pridgen officiating.

Entombment will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
