MIDDLESEX - Janice Whitfield Smith, age 68, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024.
A funeral service was held March 26, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Middlesex. Interment followed at Middlesex Memorial Gardens, Middlesex.
Janice is survived by her husband, Sam Smith; children, Christopher Craddock of Middlesex, Leonda Barnes (Darryl) of Knightdale, Chad Smith (Pepor) of Wendell, Jeffrey Smith (Kimberly) of Rocky Mount, and Samantha Smith of the home; siblings, Robert Whitfield (Barbara) of Saratoga, NC; Patricia Whitfield Perry (Elvis) of Bailey, James Whitfield of Middlesex, Edith Whitfield (Raymond) of Middlesex; sisters-in-law, Florine Whitfield of Middlesex, Peggy Whitfield of Bailey, Linda Ferguson of Knightdale, Dianne Burgess (Jerry) of Middlesex, Brenda Smith of Middlesex, Jennie Perry of Spring Hope, and Ira Smith of Raleigh; brothers-in-law, Henry Smith of Middlesex, Bobby Smith (Roddie) of Knightdale, and Wallace Smith of Wendell; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. |
