ROCKY MOUNT - Harold Dixon Bass, age 77, passed away March 18, 2024. He was born on April 20, 1946 in Harnett County, North Carolina to Oscar and Annie Belle Phipps Bass.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Judith M. Bass; daughter, LaDonna Taylor (Dan), of Nashville, son, Rodney Bass (Robyn) of Rocky Mount; step-children, Teresa Brewer (Todd), of Nashville, Wayne Matthews (Natalie) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Travis Matthews (Terri) of Wilson; sisters, Frankie Wrench and Sharion Bass and sister-in-law, Mary Bass; 6 grandchildren; 5 tep-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren
A service will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Arlington Baptist Church, 1500 Bethlehem Rd, Rocky Mount. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 3 p., and other times at the home. |
