JAMES "SCOOBY" RICHARDSON

Kernersville - Funeral services for James "Scooby" Richardson, (formerly of Castalia) age 51, who died on Sunday, February 11, 2024, will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11 a.m. from the Social Union Baptist Church in Nashville. Burial will follow in the Bethel AME Church Cemetery in Spring Hope.

He is survived by his wife, Linetta "Princess" Richardson of the home; his mother, Denise Richardson; and his father James Harvey Taylor, both of Nashville; four sisters, Charlene Gillespie (Thomas) of Nashville, Nissa Richardson of Rocky Mount, Latisha Nicole Taylor of Nashville, Angela Pitchford of Rocky Mount; one step-daughter, Elaine Fulp of Walkertown; two step-sons, Isiah Fulp, of Walkertown, Raheem Gray of Winston Salem; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
