ROCKY MOUNT - Harvey Ray Wells, age 77, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024. Born in Nash County on December 2, 1946, he was the son of the late Robert Harvey Wells Jr. and Louise Balkcum Wells.

Harvey is survived by his son Eric Wells of Nashville; two grandchildren; sister, Jean Pittard (Mike) of Roanoke Rapids.

A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at New Life Church, 1127 Benvenue Road Rocky Mount, with Pastor Tim Suber officiating. A visitation with the family will be from 1:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. at the church.
