Melvin Ray Edwards, 80, passed away February 6, 2024. He was born January 19, 1944 to the late Dallas and Ozelle Edwards.

He is survived by his his wife Jean Cooley Edwards; daughter Mandie Sawrey (Wayne); two grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Peachtree Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gene Whitehouse officiating.
