Barney Phil Greene, 76, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024. He was born July 23, 1947 in Edgecombe County. He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Gray Greene; maternal grandparents, Clarence Elliott and Mattie Pridgen Hoggard; paternal grandparents, Alton Thomas and Pearl Proctor Greene.
He is survived by his mother Winnie Hoggard Greene Petway; his wife, Donna Edwards Greene; son, Christopher Elliott Greene and fiancée Charlene Jeffries; daughter, Jennifer Greene Stallings; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one great-granddaughter to arrive in June, 2024.
Visitation with family and friends will be Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 1:00-2:45 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home with a funeral service to be held at 3 p.m. in the Chapel. |
