FRANK JOYNER

ARLINGTON, VA - Frank Junior Joyner, age 80, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Born in Nash County on February 3, 1943, he was the son of the late Frank Russell Joyner and Daisy Cockrell Joyner. He was also preceded in death by his three brothers, Harold Raymond Joyner, William David Joyner, Lester Earl Joyner (Linda Boone Joyner); four sisters Nettie Mae Batchelor (John Astor Batchelor), Dorothy Marie Joyner, Virginia Ruth Crisp Brown (Roland Crisp, Linwood Brown), Lorine Batchelor; brother-in-law Jack Cockrell.

Frank is survived by his brother Jimmie Joyner and sister Lynette Joyner Cockrell both from Rocky Mount; brother-in-law Bruce Batchelor; sisters-in-law Edith Joyner Phillips, Doris Israel Joyner, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be private.
