Fred Johnson Seagroves, Jr., 84, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023. He was born July 16, 1938 in Wake County to the late Fred and Ruby Sears Seagroves. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

He is survived by his son, Mark Seagroves; lifelong companion, Faye Taylor; step-daughters, Cathy Baines (Johnny) and Debbie Knieper (Rick); brother, Jimmy Seagroves, one sister; Linda Seagroves; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

A service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
