PATTIE LOU PARKER BATCHELOR DOZIER

NASHVILLE - Pattie Lou Parker Batchelor Dozier, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Born in Nash County on January 25, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Rev Alex Luther Parker and Florence Mae Williams Parker. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Lonnie Michael "Mike" Batchelor; her two sons, Christopher Batchelor and Michael Wayne Batchelor; her sisters, Christine Parker, Linda Mae Parker Hayes, and Irene Parker Vester; and her brothers, Harvey Parker, Luther Willis Parker, and Kelly Horace Parker.

Pattie Lou is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Dozier, III; her daughter-in-law, Marsha Batchelor Gurganus and husband Jeffrey; her sisters, Rosetta Parker Sills and Lizzie Parker Eskew Riley; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Parker, Cheryl Dozier, Vickie Batchelor, and Jackie Jackson; her brothers-in-law, Junior Hayes and wife Rosie, Ernest Dozier and wife Jackie, and Buck Batchelor and wife Faye; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at 3 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Rocky Mount with Rev. Ray Vick and Rev. Timmy Sills officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Batchelor Family Cemetery, 3702 Loop Road, Nashville.
