Wayne Darnell Moss, 76, passed away April 3, 2023. He was born on October 16, 1946 in Nash County to the late Thurman and Sally Moss. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law Glenn Joyner.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Paulette Gupton Moss; daughters Dana Moss Barberio and Darlene Moss Joyner; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister Undean Moss Lee (Bill); sister-in-law Pat Gupton Holland (Robert); many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Chris Sorenson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
