NASHVILLE - Mary Evelyn Wise, age 71, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. Born in Nash County on December 9, 1951, she was the daughter of the late William Lancaster and Cassie Mosley Lancaster.
Mary is survived by her husband of 51 years, Avery Wise, her son, Michael Wise (Stacey), of Nashville; her daughter, Melissa Manning (Wayne) of Tarboro; one grandchild; four step grandchildren; her brothers, Alton Lancaster (Donna), Steve Lancaster and Stanley Lancaster; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. A visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside. Flowers are welcome. |
