ROCKY MOUNT - Mildred Hopkins, age 71, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023.

A service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, February 18, 2023, at St. Stephen Baptist Church, 518 S. Pine Street, Spring Hope,. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. - 12 noon prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Spring Hope Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Hopkins of Queen, New York; two sons, Anthony Hopkins of West Virginia and Daniel Hopkins (Felica) of Rocky Mount; 10 grandchildren; mother, Bernice N. Wilkins Blackmon of Spring Hope; four sisters, Judy W. Richardson of Spring Hope, Rachel W. Clemons (Prentis) of Zebulon, Elizabeth W. Williams (Kenneth) of Raleigh, Janice W. Boose of Wilson; four brothers, Earl Wilkins, Herbert Wilkins, and Eugene Wilkins (Deborah), all of Spring Hope, Danny Ray Wilkins (Gwen) of Louisburg; two aunts; two uncles; two daughters-in-law, Tilica McKay of Raleigh and Alethea Ramzee of New York;; host of great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
