ELM CITY - Wanda Daniels Benson, age 63, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Born in Hampton, VA on August 4, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Daniels and Phyllis Fay Godwin Daniels.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 44 years, Robert Benson; her daughters, Caroline Benson (Jameson Murphrey), of Wilmington, Rachel Whaley (Dennis), of Greenville, and Rebecca Benson (Alan Hopkins), of Rocky Mount; five grandchildren; her sisters, Julie Green (Mike), of Rocky Mount, and Pam Rose (Bill), of Wendell; her brother, Allen Daniels (Valerie) of Elm City; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Parlor of Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
