JAMES OTTO ROSE JR.

James Otto Rose Jr., 77, passed away December 18, 2022. He was born in Nash County to the late James and Gladys Rose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Steve and Danny Rose; sisters, Marie R. Johnson, Bonnie and Diane Rose.

James is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bettie Thorton Rose; sons, Jimmie, Timothy and Brian Rose (Jessica); five grandchildren; one great-grandson: brothers Roy Rose (Carolyn) and Bobby Rose (Judy); sisters Peggy Bottoms (Johnnie) and Erma Bottoms (Jesse) and many nieces, nephews and special friends.

A visitation will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The service will follow at 6:30pm in the chapel.
