JULIE "BETT" BARNES JACKSON

ROCKY MOUNT - Julie "Bett" Barnes Jackson, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Born in Nash County on March 8, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Kelly Barnes and Betty Jean Barnes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ryan "Kit" Jackson.

Bett is survived by her sons, William "Adam" Daughtridge and wife, Leigh, Clay Daughtridge, and Joseph Jones; four grandchildren; her sisters, Amy McCotter (Pat), Melissa Barker (John), and Mary Zahran (Sam); her brother, Ben Barnes (Tina); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family burial was held at Pineview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bett's memory to either the Nash Autism Seeking Hope, 5441 Westmount Drive, Nashville, NC 27856, or to Rocky Mount Academy Exceptional Children's Program, 1313 Avondale Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
