BATTLEBORO - Deliah "Dee" Hooker Threatt, age 77, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022. Born in Nash County on April 12, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Clyde Hooker and Norma Blonde Gossett Hooker. She was also preceded in death by her nephew, Jeffrey Austin Smith.
Dee is survived by her husband of 55 ½ years, Charles Franklin Threatt, Sr.; her sons, Charles Franklin "Frank" Threatt, Jr. of Tarboro and Daniel "Danny" Hooker Threatt and wife, Robin, of Rocky Mount; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her sister, Sonya Irene Hooker Smith and husband, Stan; one niece; one great-niece and one great-nephew,.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will follow the service at Pineview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 12:30 -1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
