Don Samuel Baker, 78, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022. He was born January 31, 1944 in Nash County to the late Dorsey and Marie Vaughan Baker.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years Joan "Faye" Baker; son Duane Baker; brothers Norville Baker (Chae) and Freddie Leon Baker (Mary); sisters Nancy Sherrod, Pat Langston (Marvin), and Dale Manning; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is Friday, March 25, 2022 from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home with funeral service to be held at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Thompson Chapel Cemetery 5620 Thompson Chapel Road, Wilson NC 27893.
