BRENDA ALFORD BOYKIN

Brenda Alford Boykin, 75, passed away February 15, 2022. She was born April 15, 1946 in Lee County to the late Illiff and Nora Alford. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Boykin; sister Virginia Joyner (Bud) and brothers Bobby and Billy Alford (Gladys), and brother-in -law Sheron Bennett.

She is survived by her son Mike Boykin (Allyson); daughters Lynne B. Kight (Dennis) and Janne Driscoll; 5 grandchildren; sisters Mildred Shelton, Wanda Alford and Muriel Bennett; sister-in-law Aileen Alford; many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Monday, February 21, 2022. Burial, Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Brenda's name to United Way Tar River Region.
