LINDWOOD "RAY" JOYNER

ROCKY MOUNT - Lindwood "Ray" Joyner, age 78, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022. Born in Nash County on January 15, 1944, he was the son of the late Percy Lindwood Joyner and Ethel Winstead Joyner. He was also preceded in death by his first wife of 40 years, Barbara Pridgen Joyner, and his second wife, Patsy Vick Joyner; his grandson, Hudson Randolph Joyner; his brothers, Donald Edward Joyner and Jimmie Lee Joyner; and his sister-in-law, Nancy Lancaster Joyner.

Ray is survived by his daughter, Robin Lynn Joyner (Chris Narron), of Rocky Mount; his son, Bryan Ray Joyner of Davidson; 3 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

A service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11a.m. at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, Rocky Mount. A visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ray's memory to Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 1460 Bethlehem Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
