Roselle Carpenter Tyson, 78, passed away January 28, 2022. She was born in Nash County on October 22, 1943 to the late Walter and Cleora Carpenter. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters Ruth Bailey, Anna Whitman, Katie Lynch, Betty Earp, Mavis Webb; brothers Walter Grey Carpenter Jr., Redmon Carpenter and Alton Carpenter.

Roselle is survived by her brothers Ravin Carpenter (Carolyn), William Truman Carpenter (Myrtle); sisters Rochelle Whitehead, Eleanor Howell; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Corinth Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service at Forest Hill Cemetery.
