Luther William Matthew, Jr., 73, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022. He was born May 4, 1948 in Nash County to the late Luther Sr. and Alice Manning Matthews.

Visitation with family and friends will be Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 10:00-10:45 p.m. with funeral service to be held 11 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
